THE STORY
A new build that was a little lacking in details and character, our job was to imbue the space with a modern farmhouse vibe. A full service design project throughout the first floor of the home, we included custom details like wall and ceiling cladding, new light fixtures, paint, decor, styling, and furnishings. In the living room, a glass, Crittal-style wall incorporates a load bearing beam and still leaves the room feeling very airy and open. We added shiplap to the ceiling in the dining room, a custom light fixture, and a dining table made from a home’s reclaimed sixteenth century farmhouse beams. Throughout, we used wood textures and a mix of neutrals to create a warm and inviting feeling.
